about
A little tale of two young Atlantean women (before the fall) that can see how greedy and power-hungry the Atlanteans are becoming. Every time bring up their concerns that they already have an abundance of resources and needn't crave more, they are made to feel crazy and stupid for not wanting to take advantage of their edge on other civilizations.
They find each other and instantly connect, meeting often, down by a secluded lake. Slowly stripping off this facade they have learnt to put on for the rest of their society, reassuring each other that they're not in the wrong. They swim and float in the water in calm clarity, letting it wash away that which does not resonate with them. Two distinct drops that don't merge into the sea that is their society.
A metaphor for staying true to oneself despite what everybody else may have to say about it, as well as the amazing feeling of finding someone who understands your vision and that truth and walks down that path with you n_n Hope it resonates with you <3
lyrics
M:
On the underside right between the wordset
Lie you and me
Droplets of sea
And hold another lie naked over your head
Till you're at peace
Hold then release hm~
V:
And nobody would believe us if we told them
Stars shine and they glitter in the gold sand
And I gotta catch my breath
Ahh~ ahh~ ahh~
There's a rhythm in the movement
So slow fluid and lucid
I'm a student of the new age
Both:
If we hide we will be okay
No one can take paradise
If you find us go the other way
Or get lost in paradise today
With the monsters out
We stay alive somehow
Trust in nature and
How it all plays out
And as the petals drift lightly to the wet sand
You float to me
I found my peace hmm~
V:
Nobody would believe us if we told them
Locked out, solar, in motion
And the city - I don't miss
With our eyes up at the ocean
Mothers, daughters, holding
I'm a witness to the new age
